					<description>It's no surprise Ford is able to extend the warranty to five or six years.  There is a marked improvement in their products the last few years...Especially in the powertrains.

Seems like Ford has decided not to sell stuff unless they have confidence in the product.

That's the same way the German and Japanese succeeded.  It may take longer to gain market share back initially, but it will prove highly profitable over the long haul.

Judging from the fact that UPS is currently testing the hydraulic launch system in their trucks, added to the revelation that Parker-Hannifenn just bought the largest Japanese hydraulic parts manufacturer, I'm starting to believe there's a diesel powered full hydraulic F-Series truck coming to my driveway soon.

If it averages 30mpg or better, I will be all the happier.</description>
