Bill Ford had good ideas but not the fortitude too implement them. The company needs to finally become global in all that it does. No longer can they build a different car for each country or region. The economics require a much more global product plan. But big trucks will always be American. I think it is a good sign that Mulally is doing the job he was hired for.
