I got scammed by the same guy named James(?) Duncan for $2600 this one being a 1994 Audi cabriolet in Campobello, South Carolina with supposedly only 53,000 miles on it that the winning bidder backed out on. Actually, the scammer (seller) ended the auction early and the item disappeared from ebay motors. After several emauls, I received an "official" ebay correspondences naming some guy as the official "ebay intermediary"(His brother worked for SAS and would ship it free where I would have three days to check it out in Seattle before the money would be released by the "ebay intermediary" ), I moneygramed him the money to San Jose (home of ebay) and never heard another thing. It all looked so "official". I should have been tipped off from his pisspoor english grammar or the facr that he would not call me on the phone or give me his phone number. I was so trusting in the "officialness" of the emails. It it appears too good to be true, it is, you fool!
