454 *CHEVY!* engine into a FOX Mustang???

I guess from a "strictly mechanical" standpoint that BBC would be a good choice to power any car.

I guess for me (and some others here) it's justa "sore spot" to see any Ford powered by a Chevy engine?

I have seen so many Chevy powered Fords at shows and 99% of the time the owner is "blabbing" about how superior Chevy engines are over Fords.

I can say that any "flames" you are getting here would be nothing compared to the ones you would get if you posted on a "all Chevy" board about a 90 Camaro that you wanted to power with a 460 Ford motor.

So in closing,I did "hold back" on my true feelings on this topic (the only reason I used the this topic sucks icon is that up until this point I have used them all except that one so I figure this topic would be a OK time to use it).

So you gotta remember that this "hardcore" Ford board is gonna have tons of guys who don't like Chevy powered Fords either so the "flames" were on there way either way I figure?

P.S. I really do like somma the things that the BBC uses, my 532 BBF uses a BBC exhaust port and BBC style rear sump oil pan so they had some good features!

So you see I was not "after you" at all with this post it's just that we "disagree" on what motor should go where.
