Mechanical fuel pump VS. Electric fuel Pump

I am running a Carter 110 pump as well.Works fine on the street and really has the capacity to feed 530 hp + at 6500 rpm.Only thing; if you dragrace the car with slicks the underpressure generated by the pump may not be enough on the starting line causing acute fuel delivery problem..thatīs what happened to me.On the street it is totally ok.
