whats a good stroker motor for the bucks

Hey guys,
I have been researching 393 strokers also. This guy at "Indy Mustang" will sell me a 393 Stroker with scat crank, keith black pistons, iron heads, all being forged components, for $3,500. He says the life span of the 347 and the 408 are short lived engines. The 393 COULD be a 100,000 mile motor IF driven friendly! To hell with that! 393 has less modification to build, and is the most bang for the buck stroker out there. I told him I had 31" tall tires and 433:1 gears, he told me wheelstands and low 11's. I figure a Taxcheck, and a shoehorn, and I am in! He also claimed that he HAS fit a 351 block in a '65 Falcon (NO MII) without too much work.
L8R,
Rick
