Big Block Build-up

Great

Ive sen a few of these fox chassis stangs with 429/460's and they just seem to cant help but go fast. One guy put a junkyard 460 long block with a mild hyd cam, dual plane intake and stock exhaust manifolds in a 87 hatchback and it ran 11.60's I seen this car in person...it was a a real budget beater with a 9 inch that was too wide and the slix stuck out way to far. You know...those guys that can throw ANYTHING together with basicly free "throw away" stuff and make it work Ive also seen a 86 hatchback with a 514 crate engine(king demon carb and 2 1/8 in long tubes) had a glide with a "tall" 1.76 1st gear and 3.73 gears(set up for a small n2o shot). It went 10.40's at 134 mph 1st time out on the motor .
Im liking the looks of the standard(side) motor mount install the with the K member spacers.
