the book i have is for a c5. the trannys are a 67 and 70 model c4s .what i need to know is, did either of my c4s have these springs . because if they did, i don't remember either one having these when i tore into them.
this is how i installed the clutches. i started with a steel then a friction, steel, friction, steel, friction, steel, friction. then last two were the pressure plate and the retaining ring. the clearance was at .035 . let me know if this is right.
