I have an opportunity to purchase lexan windows for my '66 Comet for a good price. Before I commit to the deal, I wanted to run the idea by y'all. On one hand, the car is going to used for drag racing. Therefore, a little weight saving can't hurt. On the other hand, I question whether the effort involved in changing the front windshield and side windows over will be worth it in a mild drag race car. Plus, with the addition of a iron-headed 460 motor and a ten-point roll cage, the Comet isn't going to be light no matter what I a do.
