Big turn radius

I know exactly how you feel.

My '62 Falcon has the exact same turning radius problem,
plus you have to really crank the wheel to get it to turn from a dead stop.

Some have told me that it's normal with all that weight in front (I have a 600lb. 460/C6/narrowed 9", but there's got to be something that can be done about it --- at least the hard to turn from a dead stop thing.

I'm looking into a power rack & pinion (again) -- talked myself out of it last time. I plan to wear the junkyards out in the next few days to find an answer.

Thanks,

Jim
