My step-dad is going to pick up the front disc brakes from a '77 Cougar from the local junk yard. He was asking me if the sway bar would work on his '66 Galaxie also. I remember reading something about using one, but with modifications. Anyone done this? What were the mods?

I have used the PST 1 1/8" bar on another Galaxie, and just ordered front/rear sway bars for the XL, and know the bigger bars make a huge difference! He was just wondering if it was worth picking up when he grabs the brakes.........
