Installing a 302 (345 HP) Ford Crate Motor in a 40 Ford Coupe--Questions
Your intake won't fit 302 and 351 have different deck heights. Alt and A/C will fit not sure about brackets.
My '34 uses the dual sump with no problem. But not sure with the '40, you'll have measure. The post about the water pump is correct, you will have to get a new water pump.
