The top radiator hose goes to the Intake and T-stat. The bottom hose on the radiator goes to the waterpump. Theres either a drivers side or passenger side waterpump outlet. You get the waterpump with the cooresponding sided radiator. All amall block v8 waterpumps will bolt up with the exception of the newer reverse flow style.
