Probably not the advice you are wanting but if you are like me nothing is ever as easy as other make it sound so the EZ outs and reverse bits will probably just lead to a bigger mess. The easiest thing to do is probably just take the timing cover off, grab the broken bolt with a pair of vice grips, sit back and drink a beer and be glad that you could git it out that easy. It might seem like more work but I'm sure if you would have done this in the first place it would have taken less time then what you have already spent trying to get it out. Hope this helps.
