Sn95 also has a much stiffer chassis.

it doesn't outweigh the weight and lightening, plus the overall aftermarket stiffening that's available, fox is the best bang for the buck, hands down. get a set of good subs, a qa1 k member, good front and rear suspension(i.e coilovers) and u will be better off, than w/ a similarly equipped sn-95. doesn't make sense, since they start off stronger, but in the end, they r. and cheaper, and contrary to popular myth, they have no more room under the hood than a fox, just ask anyone who has put a set of headers on a 4.6 stang, better yet, hehehe a cobra. it's easier to change the headers on my car then a 4.6, and i got a bb, and long tubes. the chassis is the same from 79-04, save for the straight six earlier stangs(i.e. 79-83), and the later 4.6's, the only difference is the k member. the firewall is even the same on all of them. a few strut tower changes, front apron, radiator support, etc., but nothing has changed in the basic structure. until now. and i will get to possess the first change in 25 years, i've put in an order, for an 05 gt, as of 4/29, ain't it ironic, the date i put my order in, is the same numbers as my cid. it just happened really, just lucky i guess, guess it was meant to be. never thought i would be able to afford one, but it's a dream come true, it's already paid for. now get this, it's a little more than the '04, but not much, i got mine for 29,791, fully loaded, w/ leather and everything. nothin special, because the chromatic interior won't be available til '06, in the gt. but this bitch is gonna be awesome for a gt, the aftermarket has exploded and is just waitin for the debut, i've already paid for a kenne bell sc , and they won't be offerin a 3.73, it's a standard 8.8, but i've already ordered them as well. to top it all off, i paid for all of the additions when i ordered it. i thought i would have to order and install my self, but freeway ford in columbus georgia is gonna install all of it. plus i got the extended warranty, and everything they put on, plus what came factory, is warranted. nothin has been dynoed, but they come w/ 300 horses, i'm figurin somewhere around 375-400, when i drive it off the lot.
