How to home-stroke a 302?

Just got back from a friend's house. He's got a mid--70's ranchero with a 408 home-stroker windsor. Uses a modified 400 crank, 351w pistons and modified 350 chevy (5.7") rods.

built for less than $400, and it flat out runs! It's got a set of '69 Windsor heads on it that are stone-stock right off of a 130,000 mile motor. They need to be re-done and are worn-out but they work well for an iron headed cheap stroker. I'd hate to see how it runs with aluminum heads.
