Opinions on my Mustang hood
Don't put the scoop on for venting the hot air from under the hood. You think it is hot at the floor boards now. Wait till you get hot air blowing out the scoop hitting the windshield and coming out the vents.. I have been through this before with a 67 GT 500 and a 69 GT 350 convertible. The only good thing about a scoop that isn't sealed off for cold air induction is that you know when the seal on the water pump is bad when antifreeze starts running down the hood.
