I agree with the statement of the scoop not helping on the floorboard heat issue, that needs some shielding material to take care of that. But as far as the scoop, I personally feel the '69-'70 Boss429 Mustangs were some of the toughest looking around, especially when painted black...just awesome. But I also agree with the other statement, do what you want, it's your car.
