comp 140 fuel leak ?

I never had to do anything to my mallory comp 140 pump. I bought it new and it never had directions stating to put anything into the pump.

The mallory regulator came with some instruction to choose the correct spring for high EFI or low carb fuel pressure but that was it.

Maybe my box was missing those instruction? I have been running the pump untouched and I havn't had fuel problems.

I'll have to take a closer look at my pump and see whats up.....I thought they didn't have a pressure bypass and thats why you had to run a return regulator with them.

Maybe they have changed the design over the years
