1000 deads
Certainly not to down play the sugnificance of the 1,000 dead ...
But for perspective purposes ...
At this rate it would take about 100 years to match the number killed in Viet Nam.
In WWII we lost that many every day or two in many instances.
We lost three times that many folks who did nothing worse than show up for work one Tuesday morning.
Also, never under-estimate the imoprtance of the mission ...
That mission is "set the stage" for growing a social environment of Freedom and Liberty in the region ... hopefully that free society will find this barbaric nonsense untolerable.
History seems to tell us that is so.
These young Americans have paid the ultimate price for an honorable and important cause.
