HankyJ, we are both firmly on the same side of this fence and I appreciate all your input ... however the phrase above has a fatal flaw.

America doesn't take control of countries ... and if it does, it does so only in a vague and timed way. If you look around right here in the streets of America ... We don't even control our country in many ways ... it's the nature of freedom.

I believe below is more to the point.

No rebuilding and good will from the locals will mean anything until THEY (the locals) control that country. In freedom and liberty.
