Couple more stroker questions

my cast crank went almost 2 years in a 9.90 (give or take) stock stroke windsor on alcohol. Block broke...took crank with it, but if it hadn't have been for the stupid thin main webbing (which by the way is completely gone--except for the #5) it'd still be tearing up the strip. Cast flexes a lot more, but it can only flex so many times before it breaks. If I did another stock crank windsor, I'd buy a couple extra crank and block cores and switch 'em out once a year to be on the saf(er) side.
