Good shocks for a \'68 Galaxie?

I bought a pair of Monroe Sensa-Trak shocks today. Gonna install them tomorrow. I've heard good things about the Sensa-Trak shocks, so it sounds like I'll be happy with them. They were about twice as much as the basic shocks, but also have a lifetime warranty (who's lifetime, I wonder). Wonder if it was worth it... No matter which way you slice it the car will handle better.

I'm thinking I should have gotten a pair for the rear too... I have air shocks in the back, but I think they leak a little as every couple weeks I have to add air (they are maybe 7 years old, my uncle had them put on when he drove the car). Also, the ass-end of the car seems a bit loose ever since I got those polyurethane sway bar bushings up front, maybe new shocks would help?

Most people seem to not like air shocks... Why is that?
