I wouldn't count on the paint looking ratty any time sone, if they used urathane single stage. Some of the cars I painted 10 years ago still look great today. I would always try to talk people out of clearing solid color cars especialy red and black. I was painting trucks for Peterbilt when Imron first came out with BC/CC and the Dupont reps said that dark soild colors do better without clear. All in all I think you have a Great car. I am curious about calling the scoop a GT500 scoop, I have worked on several 67 Shelbys both 350s & 500s and they all had the same scoop.
