Pro-M \'popping\'

I have a new 306, Cobra Intake, MAC CAI, with AFR heads, BBK headers & Magnaflow exhaust, TF Stage 1 cam, 24lb inj, with a compression of 9.5:1. I had the car tuned with an Autologic chip and stock GT MAF (19lb inj), but the car would always 'die' at a light or exiting the freeway, probably due to the stock MAF being set for 19lbs. I switched to ProM's 76mm which solved the 'die'-ing issue, but now the car shudders or 'pops' around 2000-2200 rpm (according to ProM's website, this is caused by an air leak in the CAI, or a loose PCV valve). I checked everything in their troubleshooting list, but my car continues with the 'popping'. Anyone run into this problem with ProM MAF's? I'm trying to purchase a used stock Cobra MAF to see if that will remedy the problem. Any other suggestions?
