I just had my transmission re-built and at the same time I also changed my gears from the 2.73 factory to 3.73.

I was expecting some changes but I'm not sure if the rpm are right.

At 65 mph with the card in drive my rpm's are around 4200 which seems way to high at only 65 to me that means I can't drive the car in drive anymore.

With the car in O/D at 65 mph the car is around 3200 rpm.

in drive I feel 2 shift and that seems right
in O/D I feel 3 shifts and that feels right

but it just seems like in drive the car is in second gear...

Wanted to know what other folks are getting with modified gear changes on a AOD

Also my tire size 235 45 17.....
