I kinda did the same thing to my Maverick. It's a 73, but got converted into a small bumper 72 Grabber. I did try to build it with mostly factory and period correct parts though (save for the stereo and a few other pieces).

I guess they call it a restorod or something...

I still can't get much excited over anything but a FOMOCO product, with the exception of the 60-66 Chevy pickups (havn't owned one since the 80s), of which I've had a slew of them.
