I just had heart failure...

Decided to stick my Jacobs Milage Master back on tonight so I can get a new average (MOG) the 3 days I work this week.

Took my time, used wireloom, shrinkwrap, wire holders, the whole 9 yards.

Checked my brain out, yet, both lights flash when you turn it on, and both lights stay on when it runs.

The damned thing ran about 40 seconds and quit. Fuse it good, triple checked the wiring, it's good. Start it again. Same thing. Checked it AGAIN.

I'm getting ready to rip the damned thing back off the truck like I did last time I thought it wasn't working (which turned out to be a pinched fuelline I didn't know I pinched), and guess what was the matter this time?

I forgot to ground the anti-theft thing they build into the unit. Runs fine now, but I've got a headache.

I did however, use the stock Duraspark harness and pigtails this time around, so if it DOES die, I can stick my spare brain on it... as long as the coil works.
