Nascar cheaters....

My 2 cents:

What I don't understand (among the many things NA$CAR) is the guy who was sent to the "back of the pack" to start because he modfied his fuel system to show that it was full. Now if will distill that down to its essence, he cheated, therefore he was penalized points and had to start the race not in 4th or 5th where he "qualified" but last. So, how come the race winner didn't get penalized by being sent to the back (essentially making his finish null?) and docked points?

I thought the earlier reference to the amount of "fans" that watch NA$CAR was interesting. Especially coupled with the earlier comment about WWE/F. Don't they (WWE) hold the record for pay-per view events (something like 30million plus or ??). So following that logic, most fans=most "real" sport???

Personally, I'd rather be wrenching on my car ANYDAY, than watching "days of our lives" drive around the track.

Cheers,
Brian

PS If you feel the need to watch "competitive bigtime" racing, try Australian V8 supercar.
