Complain all you want about NASCAR, but it is what it is because so many people watch it. I agree that I would be more interested if it were "STOCK" car racing, but apparenly the other millions of fans don't really care about it THAT much. And with the new common-engine thing, sure a lot of people will complain, but most of them will keep watching, and so NASCAR will keep going the way it has been. The only way anything will change is if the fan base starts to dwindle significantly... But I think it's past the point of no return right now... either it will continue the way it has, or it will dwindle out and die as another form of racing becomes more popular.
