My 1966 Galaxie was delivered yesterday and looking things over, I compaired info from the ID plate and found my car has an FX Cruise-O-Matic behind the 289-2v engine.

A look at the trans and it is a pan fill model, certainly not a C-4, as there is no servo housing on the passenger side.

Just wondering, can anyone tell me about this trans? I suspect this trans is a weaker one than a C-4. Years ago, I had a 1966 Ford Custom with a 240 6 cylinder that had a C-4 behind it.
