I was doing the fuel line upgrade like they did on project 11.99, and I ordered a new sending unit for the 65 mustang. It came with a 3/8 pipe. I was going to cut it out like they did the 5/16 one on the get in line write up, but I thought maybe I didn't need to since it was a 3/8. I've already run all the 1/2, and -8an stuff, and want to know if I can use the sending unit like it is, or do I need to put a 1/2 tube in it. My engine is making over 500 HP, so I know that come into play. I was going to upgrade to the fuel cell later anyway, just wondering if I can use this for the time being. I just don't want my fuel pump to cavitate, i'm using the aeromotive electric pump.

Smokey,

Where did you order the fuel sending unit that came has 3/8" pipe? What namebrand? Such an item would save me some work.
