You can always go with lower rate springs too, but you already invested in new coils. Cutting springs will work if done with a cutting wheel.
It's been said many times before here to never torch a spring. It can cause cracking and a failure of the spring. Also cutting a half coil won't have much affect on the ride, but it will stiffen a little.
I agree to drive it for a while and let the new springs flex and settle a bit with all the new suspension components then decide. If the front is sitting where you like it you can always throw an extra leaf onto the rear.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]
