I had to order a pick-up to replace the EFI in-tank fuel pump:

This pick-up has a -10 AN end on it. Do I have to order a -10 AN fitting and use -10 AN hose (9/16" I.D.) to the fuel filter and then use -6 AN hose (11/32" I.D.) from the filter to the pump and from the pump to the carb? Or will the -10 AN hose be too big from the tank to the filter? If so, what other choice do I have??
