Jeg\'s/Kaase heads

Well I'll agree with you guys. If you say it you don't need to modify the pistons, then I'll not argue the point. I guess the point is that we all have to choose what and who to believe. When we are taking advice online it's not like we can go over to Joe's house and watch or help him put the parts together, so you still have to make a decision,...it's all a crap shoot, unless and until you get your own hands greasy.

I was just going by something I read from a guy, actually a couple of guys....supposedly at least one bought a set of heads, both claim to have spoken to John Kaase and got a similar answers, I guess the point is how much modification was needed .... anyway, he ended up returning them. If you believe what was written.

follow and read the below link to see a similar discussion on the subject, its pretty far down the topic, so I quoted the part I read:

I actually bought a set of them and returned them. Some of the guide machining looked off center and I wasn't finished with the overall quality. I spoke with Jon himself and he said to run the 1.73 ratio rockers. He also said you need a special piston and that getting the pushrod length correct could be a bit tough. I picked up some AFR 205's. Check the flow numbers between the 2 and you'll see what I mean. I would probably run the 225's with your combo. You should make close to 700hp NA. Good luck.

actually...Kaase states "reduced valve notches needed"...hmmm...

I like the "N" heads...they dont even need notches in most applications...

just a bit of port work and you get a very good head...

But that Kaase head shore is schweet...
