I run Dextron III , As i can find it easy. Type F is hard to find somethimes.
Type F does not have any friction modifiers as i recall. Dextron does.
So would think for racing type f would be better.
I never have had any issues with the Dextron III.
The type FA should be fine and as you said just don;t mix stuff and you should be ok.
