My local track has a big 2 day meeting at the beginning of August & it attracts a lot of cars, I run in 2 classes there (American Super Stock & Sportsman) both dial your own, the 1st class is for American 'street' cars only (theres alot that arrive on trailers though!) Anyways, I drove my Mustang there on Sat, entered AS/S (30 cars) & went right to the final & won that too!
Loaded up & drove home for the night, next day I drove back & entered both AS/S & Sportsman, I went out 1st rd of AS/S
but then went to the final of Sportsman & won that!
Then loaded up & drove the Car home again, passing many of the trailered 'street' cars too!
The weather was HOT! (30+degs!) & talking to one guy with a weather station he said the corrected altitude was over 3000ft! (the track has a true alt. of 25ft!) so my et's were of there usual 14.7's (14.99/15.00's) but the car ran great & consistant & its put me in first place in both AS/S & Sportsman points with only one more points race to go! I had a great weekend
