For balancing purposes each rod is measured twice, the big end and the small end is measured separately to calculate bob weight. You don't mention if you're using stock or aftermarket parts. Stock crank, rods and pistons, I wouldn't worry about balancing. If anything is non-stock get the assembly balanced.
