Glad to know, that after all these years that Hedman still has their heads up their...turndowns when it comes to certain particulars or car configurations. I personally would never buy a Hedman hedder after several run ins with their "tech" on why this won't fit that, etc. The best one was with the old 79 TA - they sold a hedder that was to fit a 403 in a Firebird body. The hedder didn't and their tech guy was convinced that my car didn't come with a 403, must have something else in their since the pipes didn't clear the starter. Said the starter should be on the other side. "You got the right parts on the wrong car - no refunds." $200 at the muffer shop to fix the problem. That and several sets of SBF hedders that came out of the box needing rework pretty much steered me away from them.
PS - guy here just put a set of the steps on his Mustang (small block, runs high 6s, low 7's in the 1/8 mile) and it didn't seem to pick it up much. Tuning still being done on that car, but so far not $700 worth of HP has been found.
