Been at it pretty much every day for 3 weeks, here is some of the progress:
The dash is a simple aluminum plate with only the basics.

I used a Ford 40 amp generator because it looked more appropriate.

The headlights are Guides off a White firetruck.

The headers are Schoenfelds that are made for an IMCA modified, but work quite well here. The valve covers are from an '85 Mustang, but they look as traditional as the Corvette covers the Chevy guys use.

The coolant recovery tank is a 12" long piece of 2" copper tubing with a couple of core plugs silver soldered on.

The fuel pump is from a '64 Fairlane with a 260 V-8. It has the integral fuel filter that really simplifies the fuel system.

The distributor is an N.O.S. Mallory dual point bought off the 'Bay for $20.00. The intake is an old Edelbrock F4B, and the carb is an Autolite 2100. Yes the fuel line is copper, and it will be just fine.
