On Sept 27 I posted a question about a 65 Mustang horn ring that I bought at a swap meet. I inquired about the missing Mustang name and only received one reply with a pic of an everyday hornring. Being the original and still owner of the same 65 I really do know what they look like and that is why my interest was peeeked. Well I've been doing my own research and what I have is an original horn ring for a 65 German T-5 export Mustang! I think these guys are pretty rare. From what I read there were only about 500 to 600 sent overseas in 65. Does anyone have any interest and/or knowledge about these T-5's? Seems the Mustang name was already in use there. I saw some pics of Mustang trucks and a motorbike with the name. My horn ring has FORD across the top with the bottom portion bare and shiney. There were several other changes made also and I guess these changes were a nightmare for the guys at Ford!
