Those trucks survived 40 + years on teh road before being tossed off by cheaper imports or sportier upgraded models...
Just get some modern rubber, some good shocks, and a steering stabilizer to prevent the 5-ton shuffle those old solid axle trucks liked so much, adn you can take it anywhere, anytime and be hindered by nothing.
