Re: 1968 Mustang in Jerusalem
Thanks to all for the compliments, it is nice to get "WOW" every day just driving to work but it is realy mean somthing coming from you guys, so thank you for your interest and support!
I'm so glad I found the FM Magazin, because no one here in Israel have a good experience with ford cars, all I can get here is a basic mechanics and usualy it is just not enough to get the job done properly, for instance if I wouldn't do the "home work" befor getting the AOD, it is 99% it would have been dead by now because my mechanic though I can run it without the T.V cable like I can do with the c4... dont get me rong here, he is a very good and honest man but there are things you just need to know... good thing I knew how to adjustment it.
So you guys need to understand, it is not only I have to pay twice for every thing because of the shipping and taxes, I have to get a real good knowledge about how to get things work properly and do alot of home work. That is why the FM Magazin is very importent for me, with its excellent "Tech department" and great forum members I can choose the right parts the first time and do thing the right way without ruining new expensive parts, the only thing I feel sory about is not knowing about this website earlier...
I am Proud to be a member in this great FM community!
I will definitely update my progress, and as some of you already know, I'm getting next week the Eaton Detroit Truetrac differentials with 3.80 Ring and Pinion, I alredy memorized the article from the Tech dept. with the "how to"... and me and Alice just waiting for it to land in the holy land... :-) pictures surely will be posted...
I hope I will be able to share my personal experience and help some of the members.
(Please excuse me for bad spelling/grammar, english is my second language...)
Thank you all for having us in this great FM community!
Roy & Alice.
