The cam you have should work fine as it is similar to the trick flow and is designed to take advantage of the twisted wedge heads. The porting may even help this cam perform better. You need to find the compression ratio of the 331, 400hp is a very real figure to reach with this engine. You may end up sacrificing idle quality to make this engine scream in the light weight sunbeam.
