Re: 1968 Mustang - Restomod Hardtop

I bought it in 2005, the biggest mods are for 2007 so please, let me a few hours to write my story

As you are all to impatient to wait, I forward my story from 2005 to 2007.

January 2007, it's time to work hard on the pony. The rust is present, everywhere and I hate that! I got some leaks, my engine is tired, it's was really time to redone everything!!!!

Let's being. The first step was:

We checked the engine and it never been open since the beginning, very disgusting...

Job's done. After cleaning the engine block, we found a crack between 2 cylinders so I prefered searching another engine bare block and I found a 71. Let's continue!

For the Restomod parts, I bought them from Mustangs Plus:

Back to the car now. We had to cut the brand new front valance. Was too short for my car. It required a few days to make it great, the same problem for the hood and deck lid...

Car inspection: rust, rust and rust...

The door panels have been removed and no surprise, rust.
