Do you meaN the raw castings that are NOT CNC ported? If so, that is NOT a good choice. As far as the quality of the valves and or springs, they offer 5 or 10 upgrade options. The 165 and 185 do not come with sevear duty valves standard, be you can upgrade them if you need to . the205 and 225 have very good race quality standard. That is the reason that the price jumps up between the 185 and the 205 heads. Most heads that are assembled for you by the seller use very cheap valves and springs so that they can list a low price to help sell them. AFR does NOT do it that way.
