heater motor / firewall hole

Hey guys,
Ive taken out my heater in the stang... one becasue I never use it (I have no heater hoses and the water pump is capped) and two, because I wanted to clean-up my engine bay all while trying to lighten as much as possible.
My issue is with the hole in the firewall that where the heater motor extended into the engine bay. What have some of you done to cover that? Is there a large grommet for this or do I make a cover?
I'm curious as to what "heater-delete" factory cars had???
Thanks,
