No...Only on the coolant ports....Another neat trick is to use a couple of studs to hold the gaskets in place and guide the intake exactly where it needs to go so you don't disturb the gaskets...After you set the intake in place and thread the rest of the bolts in you can remove the studs if you like and replace them with bolts....Some 302s I've worked on have had the 4 studs in the center right from the factory....You can also use gaskacinch to glue the gaskets in place if you don't like the stud idea..EDELBROCK 9300 GASGACINCH GASKET SEALER - SPECIAL PRICE!
