There's a guy over at FourEyedPride.com selling a '79 wagon with a 302/C4 in it. 50k miles on it, I think. Another one ('78) with an '86 5.0 in it. Also a Zephyr 4-door. If you're serious about wanting one, there's plenty of choice right there. (and if not, it rarely hurts to look, right? uhh, right? How did my wallet leap into my hand..?)

I seriously lucked out on mine.. a friend of mine saw it on the side of the road on a road I NEVER drive down.. only a day or two after I asked him to keep an eye out for Fairmonts and Zephyrs for me.

I'm a complete nut for Fox bodies. The only thing I'd want more than this I6 Fairmont is an I6 Capri with T-tops.. but I'm sticking with this car. Even though I admit it's ugly to 99.9% of the population, I still find myself standing at the front door staring out the window at it constantly.. or going out to fiddle with it just one more time. I'm positively stupid over this car lately.. even if it can barely get out of its own way (now) compared to my Mark VII LSC.
