Well, everything is going good. I'd swear that on a stack of Hemming's Motor Newses!

Checking the dwell with a dwell meter will likely tell you that the points are right where they need to be. And I'll bet you don't need any more adjustments.

Wouldn't THAT be GREAT?

You think that he might consider me a "adjusting cuss" instead of just a "talkative" one now?
Anyway, let me tell you what I found about the "Woooooo-ing" at C# above middle C.
There is a strange little curved tube, that has a hose on one end that is connected to the back of the intake manifold. That little bent curve is about the shape of a "pie slice, but with a round end, not a pointy end. There is a tube that comes off of it that go to the carburetor. That little piece of hose is collapsed! And when it is just right, the collapsed hose goes "Woooooooo"! Should I change that hose? BTW, what it THAT?
AND, there is a little multi stranded copper wire thingie that goes from a screw on the firewall, to a little fitting on the engine. THAT multi-stranded copper wire has broken. I think that that is some kind of "ground" between the engine and the body. I'm going to see if I can get a replacement for THAT while I'm out getting SeaFoam, and paint stripper. Does that have anything to do with anything?
Anyway, I'm outta here. Thanks for giving me the confidence to do this. And the old 3.14159 sends her thanks too.
Hope you are well.
Regards,
JCAllison
